Biography of André Auclair

André Auclair, born in Paris 13th on March 5, 1893 and died in Saint-Thomé on November 22, 1976, is a French painter, sculptor, ceramist and engraver.
A member of the Society of Independent Artists, he exhibited drawings, red chalks and portraits at several Salons des Tuileries. In 1938, he burned a large part of his works.
André Auclair teaches at the Beaux-Arts workshops at 80, boulevard du Montparnasse, where his students include Édouard Pignon and Marcel Mouly.
