Raymond Jean Lebouc was born on May 23, 1912, in Arcueil, Val-de-Marne. The son of Henri Joseph Lebouc and Eugénie Alexandrine Fleuret, he entered the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris on July 7, 1931, registered under the number 9306. He studied in the 2nd class under the direction of Camille Lefèvre and Albert Ferran. His entrance exam project focused on a funerary chapel, demonstrating his interest in architecture and sculpture.


Sadly, Raymond Lebouc died on September 30, 1932, at the age of 20, leaving his artistic potential unfulfilled. His time at the École des Beaux-Arts remains documented primarily in the French National Archives, and his name bears witness to a promising talent cut short prematurely.
