Biographie
Max Ulvig, born in 1913 and died in 1969, was a Danish painter renowned for his cityscapes and portraits of actors and politicians. His work, exhibited in museums in Denmark and abroad, is distinguished by his mastery of drawing and decorative painting.

Ulvig began his career in 1936 as a student of Wilhelm Wils, initially focusing on drawing before painting became his main discipline. He produced numerous portraits and contributed to the decoration of prestigious locations, such as the cabin at the Zoo Hotel in Copenhagen.
His works are held in public and private collections, including the Copenhagen Museum and St. Olaf College, as well as in several collections around the world, including in the United States. Several of his paintings have been sold at European auctions, testifying to the continued recognition of his work.
