Her career began in 1963 with a nude photography collaboration with artist Paul Wunderlich, an encounter that had a lasting influence on her artistic development. This creative partnership, which evolved into a personal union in 1971, continued until Paul's death in 2010.
From 1967 to 1969, she shared her knowledge by teaching fashion photography at the School of Arts and Crafts in Hamburg, an educational experience that enriched her thinking about images. She then established herself as a freelance photographer, developing her distinctive personal style.
His iconic series "Selected Female Nudes" (11 works), created between 1970 and 1979, perfectly illustrates his aesthetic approach: the female silhouettes, wrapped in transparent fabrics and carefully lit, reveal a poetic vision of the body.
