Jeanne Jégou-Cadart lived in Kernouës, Brittany, and in Paris, two places that profoundly influenced her art. She participated in the first exhibition of the Association of Artists of the 4th Arrondissement in May 1913, marking her integration into the Parisian art scene. She subsequently exhibited at the Devambez Gallery in 1917 and 1919, consolidating her reputation. Her works, primarily in pastel, reflect the diversity of her influences and her deep emotions, combining Breton and Parisian sensibilities. Some of her creations are now housed in the collections of the Musée Carnavalet in Paris, attesting to the enduring recognition of her work.
