Moussia Toulman (1903-1997) was a Ukrainian painter, poet, and art critic based in Paris. A member of the School of Paris, she painted landscapes, still lifes, nudes, and portraits, and actively contributed to criticism and cultural promotion.

Moussia Toulman was born in 1903 in Ukraine and died in 1997 in Paris. A painter, poet, and art critic, she moved to Paris in 1929 to pursue her artistic studies and joined the "Société des Salons Indépendants," becoming a notable figure in the School of Paris. She produced classical landscapes, still lifes, nudes, and portraits, and actively participated in Parisian artistic life.


In 1938, she painted the sculptor Naoum Aronson and published art criticism on artists such as Garfinkiel Dobrinski, Jean Michel Atlan, and Marcelle Cahn. With Mane Katz, Jean Michel Atlan, and others, she founded the Art Organization to create cultural ties with Israel and support Israeli artists in Paris. She also wrote poetry and published various critical articles.


Part of his collection is donated to the Ein Harod Museum in Galilee. His works, present in several museums, bear witness to his influence and his artistic and cultural commitment. Moussia Toulman leaves a rich legacy through his painting, poetry, and contributions to art criticism.
